Hello and welcome……

A little bit about us….

In 2005 three friends decided to open a craft shop in the North East of England. A shop was converted, painted and sign put up, a website was designed and “Scrapbook Village” opened for business. It has been a fantastic journey, making new friends – and new crafting techniques! However after 5 years we felt a change was needed. Cardmakers were overtaking the Scrapbookers and we wondered about changing our name, making new goals and broadening our dreams. After a lot of thought and discussion “Simply Crafts” was born and we got to creating a new logo and colour scheme. Plus the shop was very much in need of painting!

In 2009 I got married and created my own wedding stationery, which lead the way to us creating our own range of Wedding Stationery. Great quality at affordable prices was what we wanted to offer…..which leads to our new range of “Simply Yours Wedding Stationery”.

When visiting my sister in Canada we began talking about sweets, which lead to talking about “Candy Buffets” which are huge in North America. That was it! I was having one at my wedding – and it was a huge hit. People started asking me where they could get one from, which company I had used. Which lead to the opening of “Simply Sweet” – our Candy Buffet wedding and party service.

It is an exciting time, as we chase our dreams and create new goals. I had a lot of dreams when we opened Scrapbook Village, but I never thought we would get to where we are now. Having made life long friendships and a mountain of happy memories. Now it’s time to create even more exciting memories!
